Do you wish now that you have had spent more money when you were buying your current home, should've spent less or you are comfortable with the expenses.

Default Smart, for us

1. Downsized mortgage to $zero.
2. Downsized space and ongoing expenses.
3. Market value has increased by 10% in last 2 years. We plan on staying for 20+ as we did in our previous house.
4. New retail businesses opening near us every day.

We could've spent more on a brand new house but decided to buy in same area, same schools, better niche, same kind of house by same builder, just 14 year old house. We saved about 140k, spent 30k on A/C & new appliances. Couldn't be happier.
