Talked to my realtor last night. Finally received feedback from one of the couples that come through my open house. It wasn't feedback exactly but more of a question/concern. They wanted to know why I had water in my garage. Water in my garage? where I ask? Up towards where the front of a car would be if it were parked in the garage. Oh THAT WATER! Ummm... hello we had a big snow storm on friday/saturday. the WATER is from the snow that melted off of my CAR that was IN THE GARAGE!
My god! So I guess now in addition to having a sparkling clean house I must towel dry my car BEFORE i put it in the garage. Seriously, you've GOT TO BE KIDDING!
Not really upset by this just think it's funny especially since the people who asked about the "water problem" live 2 towns over from me and got the exact same amount of snow.
sounds to me like they may be interested in your home and want to see if there was any water damage. I think that is a good thing...I would ask too if I was interested...just to make sure it was from the storm and not something more to worry about.
From this particular couple yes. We did get feedback from another couple (actually the father of the daughter) that he didn't think we had enough insulation in our attic.
Thank goodness hubby had organized the attic the week before. now that we've had 2 couples look up there I've added sweep attic to my list of to dos before showings/open houses. great just one more thing i've got to worry about.
If they looked in the attic too...sounds like they are interested-or engineers! We had engineers once put an offer in on our home and they needed to know EVERYTHING like how far the trees were in distance to the poles out back and if we had Tyvec on the house and what kind of piping was through the house. Sad for them b/c we ended up sellingt o someone else b/c they asked too many darned questions, lol!
I always look in the attic. I don't care about dust, I am looking for signs of water intrusion.
