There are plenty of questions asked here re: new construction. I guess it's because this one does the job. Do you have questions or are you just suggesting a new sub-forum? It's not a bad idea, really...

I think a new subforum would be great. No jumping around between forums and getting 1 or 2 if any answers.
There are questions re how to find a builder, working with a builder, do you get your own architect or work with the theirs, different septics, basement/slab/crawl, cost vs. benefit, loan types it just goes on and on. Trying to figure out if there is a forum that works doesn't work.

How to ask for a new subforum?

They have not started a new forum for years.

But, go to the About the Forum forum and ask.

A new subforum isn't needed to ask those questions.
