I get in my car and drive to Bakers Square. LOL I wish I knew how to make it. Or maybe that would be a bad idea - I would make it all the time.

Hammy- You just made my day! LOL.

We found out a couple of weeks ago that we have a Baker's Square near us. I forgot about it until you just mentioned it. I think I will order some pies for Christmas! The website allows you to order it directly from it. I have never had their Candy Cane Pie. It isn't on the list, I wonder if it will be close to Christmas. Sounds yummy!

Oh it is so good! Maybe they are not making it this year? I cannot remember when they had it but I want to say in December it was their pie of the month.

Woa- I just found a website and it said that it has 845 calories for 1 slice of it. Good grief, it must be VERY YUMMY for ONE PIECE! I guess we wouldn't sit down and eat the entire pie in one sitting.LOL.

A dark cookie crumb crust, layer it with milk chocolate and top it with a peppermint white silk filling mixed with red and green peppermint chips. Another thin layer of milk chocolate is finished with real whipped cream and red and green candy drops. The pie is topped with two sugar candy canes criss-crossed in the center.

Hammy-Does this sound like it?

It takes like candy cane's but not overwhelming. It has little pieces of candy canes and it really fluffy and sweet. That probably does not help at all does it?

I think that constant line of communication has helped. My oldest in fact was running late and he called Saturday night to tell us so we wouldn't worry.

Really bottom line about them getting married...I just truly want them to be in a loving, happy, respectful relationship with someone. I think thats what we all want.

I know a couple of you are going to be soon the MIL.... how do you feel about your son's future wives?

Raising I am a MIL but to My dd husband ad i love him and always have with all my heart. They were meant to be they have been married for 18 years. BTW I was 16 when i was engaged the first time. Mom and Dad didn't fight it and I in time knew he was not the one for me in time. I knew my hubby for 3 years until we hooked up. he was a hard catch and we were always dating someone else. We finally got together at 17 and just before I turned 18 we got engaged . We got married a month to the day after i turned 19 and he was 21. So I do know what your son might be going thru. Teenage dating is just so intense.

Gotta go visiting our pup today. Named her Mandy could change our mind though.
