some hams have alot of waste on them,,, the "shank" is the cheapest but has 30-40% waste (unless you make a soup out of the bone, or give it to your dog)
the "semi boneless" is one of the best bone in hams - little waste- you could buy two of those- they are usually around 10-12lbs each
If you get a Honey Ham, remember you can use the bone later to make the very best navy bean and ham soup.
Not for our family it isn't LOL. My mom made a 30 Lb. Turkey 2 years ago and there was 11 of us.
