I have recently discovered my love for cooking. I was wondering what are some of your favorite recipes sites and/or blogs?

I always seem to check Allrecipes.com first when looking for a recipe. Also like Gooseberry Patch and Southernplate.com. Never heard of smittenkitchen, but that's now on my list.

The first place I go, after checking my umteen million cook books is the Food Network. If I don't find what I want there, I google the food and usually get lots of replies. Then I read a few and see what one would work the best for our particular tastes.

Yes, Allrecipes.com would be my second pick after the food network.

I like allrecipes too. My New Year's resolution a couple of years ago was to quit throwing out so much food. AllRecipes has this thing where you can plug in what you have and it comes up with recipes using those items.
