That not all men are like that. Some believe in fidelity--and in getting to know someone before they sleep with them. I have NEVER had a one night stand, nor had sex with someone earlier than three weeks into committing.

I'd say it's pretty much accurate. Any woman who withholds sex from a man as some kind of means to entice him into a relationship is being a fool becasue, yes, if that's all he's interested in he WILL find it someplace else.

Don't have sex with him if that's what you really want, or bang your brains out with him if that IS you want. But the idea that you should withhold "milk" so a man will "buy" you is both staggeringly demeaning to you as a woman and also ineffective as a dating strategy.

Sex has always been available for men, throughout time.

Ever hear of prostitution? It was much more regular for men to visit houses of ill repute 50 in times past.

The average age of losing ones virginity has stayed around 16 for a long time now, isn't changing much today either.

I always wonder where people get this idea that sex was only between married couples, and that suddenly changed in 1960.

Marriage was much more about money, not sex. Who could you marry, what did their family have to offer, etc. Rich men just had concubines and mistresses. Poor guys just married who they could, because it was cheaper than visiting the red light district every night.

The OP's view to me is a misconception.

Humans have sex, irrespective of society and time period. The issue is that now we are more open about it, and sex is more openly talked about.
