I have also been known to complain to a supervisor. I took things like you wouldn't believe, I have been threatened, screamed at, backed up against walls...all kinds of things...people can at least be polite.

I worked in retail, too.
No matter where you are --or with whom--it seems that 'Someone' must remain calm and objective --so that others may vent.
At times this creates stress. That is my opinion. Thank you for your comments.
