What has been the biggesst age difference you've dated/married?

I read an article yesturday about a couple that just got married-he was 35 and she 21. What's your age difference and what would be you limits on how old and how young would go as it realtes to dating/marring someone of a different age.

Please list you age....

This may shock some but... I had an 18 month relationship with a man 26 years older then myself. At the time it started I was 19 and he was 45. It broke off this year when we were 22 and 48.

At first it wasn't much of an issue. Of coarse it was always there but managable. For most of those months we were happy and enjoyed eachothers company. We even liked to do many of the same things. But long term- it never would have worked. The times that we did argue, I always felt he was treating me like a child and talking down to me. And of coarse he thought he did no such thing.

A neighbor of mine just divorced a man 28 years her senior. She was 18 when they married and just turned 40. He is 68 now and his failing health was one of the problems. That is one thing that people used to point out to me.

I am 34 currently, and I have started seeing a man who is 46. Before that... I was married to a man who was only nine months older than me, and we had been together for 17 years up until our separation.

My limits. I don't think i would go over 15 years older than me, and I don't think i could date younger than myself, don't even think I would go out with a man my age either...

My hubby is 7 years older than me, but I think the biggest age difference in my dating years was 10 years (the boyfriend being the older one). I think 10 years would probably be the max for me, although if one was truly in love, then what would it matter?? Oh yes, I am 40 years old... can that be true???? LOL

I once dated a man 18 years older than me. When we began dating I was 27 and he was 45. It's weird that I'm now the same age he was when we met (44), but it seems like a lifetime ago!

He was in pretty good shape when we met, at least for his age, anyway. As time went on, though, he began gaining weight - to the tune of being 5'10" and 230 lbs. At only 5'0" tall and 105 lbs back then, I found that difficult to deal with. I could have dealt with that, but he also talked down to me and claimed that he had to be "decision maker" in the relationship, etc. Uh huh... Right.

I think a ten year age difference (older than me) is fine. To date a younger man would be weird, but I think I could manage if he were only five years younger or less.

Me 49, him 26... five years living together and going strong. Usually at the three year I start to lose interest in my boyfriends, so he's doing great!

We have tons in common. The same intellectual curiousity, we love the same cars, music, food and we are dog people. We also hate bad drivers and people who *** on their cell phones all day. We're not big on IM's, MySpace and all that frivolous internet chatter.

4 years (younger than me)...an ex-girlfriend. My wife is 3 years younger than me.

I never dated anyone older than me (other than a one-night stand years ago with a girl about 10 years older than me).

When i was 21 i dated a 36 year old for about 10 months. After that i dated 3 or 4 guys who were 10 years older. Now that i'm 29 i'm not looking to date someone in their 40s, so i'm looking at the 24 -36 year old range.

I've also always said that if you are closer in age to my mother than you are to me, you're too old (mom is 54). So i might date someone 40, but any older than that is pushing it.
