Food! Why is it the guys you are with always seem to pile away the food. I made crabcakes for dinner and my husband eats 6 of them......plus 3 helpings of corn.....mashed potatoes...and 2 slices of pie. Then sits down for 40 minutes and gets up for a snack. If i even dreamt of eating that much my thighs would start to expand on the spot. So how about it ladies does you mate eat the world away .

My sister is always complaining her husband eats up all the food. He's like a scavenger, she can't even keep any leftovers! A side dish, leftover rice, sauce, it's all gone by the time she goes to use it and it gets maddening for her.

he eats a lot, but he does quite a bit of exercise as well and has a very athletic body. If I ate half that much, however, despite my working out as well (though not as much as he does) I'd definitely have problems buttoning up my jeans...

My little brother (he'll be 18 next week) is 6'3 and weighs maybe 185. He also plays sports (lettered in baseball as a freshman) and can put food away like it's nobodys business!! We were at a restaurant a few months ago and the head cook/chef actually came out because the server mentioned what my little bro ate. He came out, congratulated him and gave us dessert on the house

He had 2 full bacon cheeseburger meals (double bacon, double cheese, double patty + fries and coleslaw), a 12oz sirloin with a side of mashed potatoes and then proceeded to finish off everyone elses meals.

I used to be able to eat like that ... but now that I'm over 50, if I eat a 3 oz doughnut, I gain 3 lbs.

We tend to have higher metabolisms. Trust me it's not that great, it gets quite pricey actually. I had six pieces of french toast this morning (a piece being half of a slice of bread) and I was hungry like two hours later.
