I have been trying to stop using bad language. I need some suggestions on motivation. I have told myself all of the why you shouldn'ts (i.e. unladylike, lack of better space fillers, etc.) I seriously need some help. I have made some recent improvement with a 25 cent/pop swear jar. But it has only helped a little..any suggestions?

LOL! Me too, at times I am very proud of it in certain situations, but the majority just spews out of my mouth before I even know it. My mom and grandma dont help, they are where I learned it from.

Why do you say unladylike things, um the real reason, and why do you want to stop?

Yeah, but "Oh, fecal matter! 'Sexual intercourse' off!" just doesn't give the same satisfaction.

LOL. I feel good with, "Flying fornication" and "fecal spatter." What's wrong with swearing? Why would I want to hang out with people who have virgin hears. As long as they're used as adjectives and not nouns.

That's a good rule of thumb, actually! I can think of a situation or two where it wouldn't be SO bad, though...

My stupid gutter brain.

You should just go screaming on the top of the highest mountian "I lack the mental ability to control what words come out of my mouth". In other words, you are saying you are not intelligent enough to control what you say? Wow. Just wow.

Maybe you should try some brain exercises like Sudoku or something similar. Have you been diagnosed with tourettes syndrome? If not, well, you better stock up on the Sudoku and tetris games.

Good luck.
