I've learned that there are more wackadoo people with wackadoo ideas out there on the interweb than I ever thought possible, but there are also a lot of cool, smart, thoughtful, and funny people to balance them out.

You are so right! I noticed this too.

If you ask your husband what he's doing then ... you are controlling.
If you don't ask him anything then.... you are a doormat.
If he's tall...then you're shallow.
If he's rich...then you're a gold-digger.

I just learned that "learnt" is a real word. I thought dave nz had misspelled it and was giggling at the irony until I looked it up.

LOL Oso repable. And this doesn't even include the misogynistic views.

Yeah, that's a British English spelling, like dreamt/dreamed, spelt/spelled, spoilt/spoiled, etc.

This about sums it up.

Freaks me out that what I read on here might be going through the heads of people I see walking down the street.

I've learned the relationship forum, above all others, is For Entertainment Purposes Only.

I have learned that people who are in relationships are miserable. I have also learned that people who are not in relationships are miserable.

I have learned a lot about myself from this forum. Honestly, if I didn't start posting here a year ago I'd probably still be frustrated. I see a lot of self defeating behaviors here, things I used to do myself. But instead of harping on these behaviors in over people, I look for them in myself and work towards correcting them. I have a long way to go, but the journey is positive.
