Maybe some feel an emotional and spiritual tie, like becoming one body and soul together and increasing their love and experiencing new heights? At least, that's what I've heard. I think the term 'making love' could be tied with religious beliefs, since I heard this term used with some people I know of the Christian faith.
"Making love". That's way too sappy and sentimental. I don't think I can even say it aloud with a straight face.
Yeah, it's not a term that works well. I took one of my fun friends to see Fifty Shades of Grey in the theater and in middle I just turned to her and stared at her, half smiling. She said, "what?" and I leaned in and whispered, "I really need to make love to you tonight". She laughed and rolled her eyes and said "oh please". Not my smoothest moment, but we'd both been drinking a bit, so I was a little loose.
We still had sex (that's kind of what the date was about), but she did call me a dork and said I have no game. She's a sweet girl.
