Nah, those types of women are the "Yo yo yo" and "Keepin' it real" types. There are no other women in the world who are like that except for the ones rockin' out with a CAN of beer, a cigarette, and watching NASCAR. you got a point, i know many a redneck girl back in the south who are just like the chicks in "gummo"- the scene where the guy is attacking the chair? and all the women are hollering "give it hell!" yeah, that's real stuff there. but don't forget the princess snotrags. they can be like that too. and my sister drinks beer from a can, smokes and loves NASCAR, and she is in NO way that person. many cultured refined people love NASCAR. well, three or four

With the metrosexualfication (you like that word? ) of men these days, it's a wonder they even HAVE a woman to fight for, IF they would fight. But they don't. They try to talk their way out of a situation because they KNOW they'll get their a$$ handed to them. They threaten lawsuits and call out to their "buds" in a high, squeaky voice to help them.
I've never heard of a woman asking her BF to beat anyone up, and even when it's called for a lot of women are against any and all violence...
For example I remember this incident where my friend got his ass tewed by his GF for defending himself against a robber...

Low-class and ghetto class are everywhere, and those are the types that practice the behavior you are asking about. It's no more complicated than that.
It's called "Lets you and him fight". It's womens' way of selecting men, like when animals compete for the female of the herd. She basically wants a display of strength/power/alphaness so she can judge if you're worthy. Granted this isn't something she consciously does, it's just an instinct for women to cause problems sometimes and expect the man to defend her. In modern society such behavior is detrimental to say the least.
