I never really got the hang of Daz, so that phase didn't last long. I did the second one, to experiment with light and shadows. The "Alone" portrait is not me, but was done in the final year of my marriage. I was going for "mood".

My favorite method of non-digital portraits (human - faces) is using graphite pencil. I shave graphite over the canvas with an exacto knife, take a paper towel and rub it in, then "carve out" the light with an eraser. It gives a very cool 3-D effect.

Wow, these are really cool! I think I can count the hairs in your bangs on the first one. Very pretty eyes and lips!

I never even heard of this program, now I'm curious!

OK, I'm thoroughly confused... Both women look like the same person to me.

Very imaginative of you!!!!! Your correct, it does give a cool 3-D effect!
