I think you are underestimating yourself. Those pictures are great. I like the first one especially.
Thank you.

Yes she did! The sun is coming out, so you can see all of the trees shining at once. Someone with a really good camera could take some excellent pictures right now. It's still below freezing, but I don't know how much longer it will last.
Those are some cool pics. We had SNOW here in parts of Los Angeles on Saturday. It snowed in Burbank. Was awesome.
Wow, thanks. You like to take nature pics too, right? I think I remember your saying you like to photograph flowers and bugs and stuff. I'd like to take some classes someday so I knew more about light and where it should come from.
And I can't believe it SNOWED in Burbank! How much? Did it stick or just melt away? Are the drivers freaking out?
I drove through Central Ohio after an ice storm a few years ago--the sun was out, and the trees looked like they were wrapped in crystal. It was stunning. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't stop and take a picture.

Good memory. I like to take macro photos - bugs, flowers, mushrooms, etc. Just a hobby and a way to maintain sanity. There are some good books on exposures and F stops that help with light. I am far from competent on this but check out your local closing Borders for some good prices on good books.
That's what happens when you have too much of something - no appreciation! Having snow here most of the time is a sign of affluence and a source of bragging! That's because usually only the areas in the foothills of the mountains get some dusting and not the inner city.
Noooooooooooooooo!!!! Booooooooooooo! No more winter! I want Spring!
