I'm sorry, Rakin, and I'm surprised you didn't notice the problems as you're pretty astute. Obviously, I don't know details and I could be wrong, but it may not be too late to save your marriage! I'd fight for it if I were you!
I'm in the camp that votes for fighting as hard as you can to save this. 30 years is a lot to give up on
Stop working together for a career and work together on the marriage.
Also, you're saying your wife is depressed (Geez, the pics could've fooled me...). I'd imagine this depression must have some sources other than you... Don't you think that resolving them somehow may help?
She had a verbally abusive mother and it has been a battle over the last 10 years to control the depression. The smallest thing said or done is taken out of context (I now understand, the Dr calls it Ultra-sensitive). I guess as women hit their mid-40s and all the changes these things can surface.
There again it wasn't all her but much of my neglect or things said. It just gets amplified by the depression. I believe her Meds are sufficient now and that's why when she says it's over, I still have hope.
The tough part is to get her better, I can see that maybe the best thing is to remove the stress which unfortunately includes me. When you really love someone you want whats best for them.
Besides, I can now be a player and increase the women coming on here with their problems
Yeah, she's already looking for a career change with my total support.
It's good she's willing to do something else because it'd be incredibly hard if both of you wanted to keep the RE thing going... Guess you could do it separately, but still...
That's too bad Rakin. Here is one to hopefully bring you better luck. "Cause if I ever get back those blue jeans... I know my baby will be bringing them home to me".

Thanks, BBJ. That little old band from Texas is one of my favorites. We were in Sturgis back in 04 and they played in one of the large outdoor concerts.
It was one of the best concerts ever. Not bad for a bunch of old 60 something YO guys.
Damn, Rakin, this news made me very sad... Your marriage sounded so happy, both of you look almost like newlyweds on your pictures (it's obvious you both keep in shape, dress well, try to stay attractive to each other, have fun together), and I always thought it was of those that would last till the end! It gave me hope... If you guys can't make it, what can the rest of us hope for?!

I knew you had heard of them before. You are very welcome and I'm sorry. Texan
