Would any of you chicks be upset if a nice guy said he would be happy and willing to be the only one, but he doesn't have enough practice or enough money to practice on a short term basis?

Had to make an emergency repair requiring a weld. Just two quick passes over and under the break. The pass over went fine. The pass under I had to crouch underneath in a confined space and the sparks were falling on my chest and crotch. The fire started at the crotch. I assumed the guy watching behind who was performing the duty of FIREWATCH would spray me down so I kept going as I needed that pass and I needed it fast or things were going to go sideways. He didn't. Ended up with a wee bit of a burn getting scary close to a place you dont want to get burned. Pheww. I'm already nervous about the whole dating thing since I came here and found out I was damaged goods and should be avoided. That would certainly up the ante, her "Oh my god what is that on your...." me "its just a burn, no realllllly! lol

what does that even mean? practice as in practicing law or what?
