My cat had to spend the night at the vet on Friday, and we brought her home Saturday morning. I had to leave again immediately afterward, so my husband took her upstairs to make her comfortable in our room. I went up later to check on her, and he had turned on music for her. Enya. Because cats like Enya?
Well it should be soothing... Would you want kitty to listen to drowning pool or meltalica?

I once fostered this litter of puppies and they were in the back of the car and just would not shut up until I started Peter Gabriel then they completely went silent. I went through McDonald's driveway and turned down the music and they all started up again. Turned the music back up and they shut up - it really was the funniest thing.

I once drove a couple beagle pups to Kansas City. The little girl sang along to Sugarland with me. LOL
I fostered this out of control jack russell and he was on the sofa and saw a dog on the television and bolted from the sofa yapping his head off and flew over the coffee table and slammed into the television, got up, still yapping and walked into the kitchen to find that dog.

Hahahaha! I love Jack Russells, but they are too ADD for us to ever consider owning one!!

I've fostered 100s of jack russells and out of all of them she as the most high strung. All the rest were calm and against the grain of the typical characterists of a regular JRT - so much so I adopted one to an elderly couple.
Awww...that was sweet of him. My BF turns on music for his dogs whenever he leaves. I know a lot of people that leave their TV sets on.
