I would think changing laws, public perceptions and social customs would put the lie to that statement...

Using leeches to reduce high blood-pressure used to be the "right" thing to do. Later, it was condemned as "wrong". Guess what? They're using leeches again!

As for "right is right" - the correctness of any action in an evolved society is merely the result of popular opinion, not unanimous vote. There will always be those who believe that "right" is "wrong". In fact, thank Buddha they do - otherwise we'd still have things like segregation and colonialism.

Life isn't black and white - it has an infinitude of gray-scales. Many times you have to perform a wrong action to achieve a right goal, just as you can perform all the right moves and still end up being wrong.

"Right" and "Wrong" are just perceptions, temporary judgements, nothing more. Mere blinks of the eye.

I agree. And the reasons you listed were good. There are plenty of single women out there.

It could be dangerous, ie. you could DIE from it. Jealous husbands have been known to flip out. AND - she may get real pissed off at her man one day and spill the beans. NOT a good thing.

Well, it happens more often than you think. Your travelling on business, you meet her in the hotel bar. You see here every night after you get out of your meetings. You hit it off. When the trip is over you ask for her number and she says no and gives you a hug and a peck! No further questioning needed, you know why.

I wouldn't have sex with someone married to someone else.
Why borrow trouble?
Let them be someone else's problem, not mine.

Would never do it. Goes against my morals, and what if you knock her up? Wouldn't wanna face hubby's rifle.

I would never want to be in the middle of a relationship, ever. There's no need either. Plenty of fish and, besides, romantic feelings and/or sexual impulses are not the only things worth paying attention to when making a decision.

Well, that's what it USUALLY is.

Yes, there are open marriages, and swingers, but the VAST majority arent that.

And some may also LIE and say they are 'allowed' to stray. Same as some guys do.

I hear ya man. I avoid married women and single mothers like the plague.

I commend some of men on here to sticking to their guns and avoiding married women. Takes a lot of heart.
