Only on men that I like.
Never bothered me.

The thought of shaving or waxing turns me off.

I don't mind some hair on the chest. Not a big fan of a really thick shag carpet on the chest, but anything between hairless and smooth (naturally not groomed) to some hair is fine by me.

Hey, we all had to work our way through college somehow.

Don't judge me.

I used to like--really like-- hairy chests. Now that I've been with my husband for a few years (who's still young and quite lacking in chest hair!) I no longer get turned on by chest hair. I would be understanding of an older man having chest hair but of course I don't have to worry about that (for now)!

There may be a few stragglers here and there of young women like hair and older women liking smooth men , but, for the most part, it seems that the younger women prefer the hairless.

Since when does a hairless chest have to be called "smooth"?

The opposite of hairy is either hairless or BALD.

I have hair on my chest and it downy and silky, not coarse or wiry. It is smooth. Very smooth and soft to the touch.

So, I propose from this day forward, when describing a man with no hair on his chest, he shall be described as having a bald chest.

Exactly. It pisses me off! I will not shave my chest. Maybe that means a woman in her early 30's (what I'm looking for) won't be into me. Sad, but true.

Sorry, I think "slug" is a lot more colorful!

People, quit molding yourselves into what somebody (of even the majority) will supposedly like!
