I have a major decision to make. I may be moving to Naples, FL for a job. Naples is not known for singles, and I'm really looking for a future wife. So there's about 20,000 people in Naples and the average age is 60. But my career is a mess and I'm in a job I detest. The job in Naples would be great. So do I put my career first, or do I turn this down due to a potentially dismal social/dating scene there? What would you do?

Hell, yeah! I can see it being a problem if you're leaving anybody behind, but who would stay unemployed just because the singles scene somewhere is not the best?! How exactly will you date without money anyway?

Well, it is true that Naples is a town of older people, people with money with a very small percentage of singles, so the chances of you finding someone in Naples is slim. However, there is no distance requirement when it comes to dating right? Or at least you can still find someone in towns near by like Fort Myers. And single women in this state are in real need for decent single men. I say: move!!!

since you're not leaving anyone behind and you have no positive feelings on your current situation, make it better for yourself.

it's pretty hard to find a job these days and the prospects of having one is pretty good.

good luck.

Go to your new job. There may be some lovely lady who moved for the same reason that you're moving to Naples.

I'm working, just in a job I hate. Just want to clear that up.

Go to Naples for the great job. You can find love in the most unexpected places if you are open to it. Plus the weather and beach there are incredible.

LOL, thanks! I grew up in West Palm, so very familiar with the east coast. Swore I'd never go back, but the career may dictate it. And I am what many women SAY they're looking for (honest, in shape, loyal, funny, etc). And now that I've learned how to really communicate, I look even better on paper, lol.
