I agree but the point would be moot if the parents had done a decent job..

Why make life more difficult than it really is. If I had a felony it would be a different story but from the inside looking out I wouldn't do it.

If the felony had anything to do with drugs or armed encounters....I would not.

I would date Martha Stewart, but she’s the only exception to the rule.

like im sure everyone else has said, it depends on what it was. usually i would avoid drug-related issues as those are the type of things people are likely to lapse back into, but i could sell some of my prescription meds i dont need for extra cash and there's a felony (in some places) right there. the crime is drug related but it doesn't imply that the seller has a drug problem. if they had been convicted of armed robbery or had had 5 duis those are totally different issues.

The Felony status should be cleared after 5-10 yrs depending on the circumstances, I

see no benefit of punishing people for life.I have a felony for DUI, there was no accident or anything

I no longer drink, or smoke. But can't get a decent career going , hopefully the judge will lift it

but he doesn't have to !

I don't think so. Five DUIs means the person was irresponsible enough to endanger not only their own lives but the lives of those around them four more times after they should have learned their lesson. DUIs are a big problem where I live, and I was almost killed by a drunk driver when I was 15, myself. If it's you or your kid who gets hit by one, you might think differently.

I meant they were totally different than having one felony for selling presciption drugs. I agree with you- 5 duis would definitely be a huge red flag.

I would date this person for a good time. I would not consider this person for a serious relationship. But, if he wants to take me to the Bahamas, I am good with that.
