These were funny.
1. Foodstamps - I don't think I would date anyone poor enough to qualify for foodstamps...That's a toughie since I can't imagine it. The down-and-out guys I have dated were students...and strangely enough, I don't think they qualified for foodstamps.
2. Living with Parents - OK I'm not born in the US and I think if you are well educated and successful...what's wrong with living with your parents? Especially if you're doing it to save money or they're sick.
3. Catholic - I stay far away from religious people and I don't agree with the beliefs of Catholics.
4. LOL He ran out of gas! At least he has a car. Not a biggie.

Especially since most newer cars not only have a gas gauge but one of those "distance to empty" meters.

Turn off-
I'll venture to guess it was happening to your ex, based on what I've heard. Mine was driving sometimes on an almost empty tank, too - just because he knew it drove me nuts! No other reason!

You do have a point

I am not sure what kind of crap they will put me through now that Mrs Chamataka is not catholic. I'm trying to convert her for a grand catholic wedding waiting to happen

So are you?

I have a lot of family & friends who are, so I am just curious if you are a JW or you just like to joke about them a lot? Or both you are and you joke about it.....(although I must admit, most of the JW's I know don't joke about it too often because they usually have to deal with people giving them a hard time and they simply can't find the humor in the jokes at their expense anymore)

ha ha <------I think.

Yes..I dont get offended ...lots of us have friends and family who aren't witnesses..But I do hear some of the funniest things people say about witnesses..But I really dont think I would have much in common with a devouted catholic..I have a bestfriend he is always telling me not to drink the kool-aid....Most witnesses I know dont take things personal and they do have good sense of humors
I dont joke about being a witnesses...I will be one forever..

Food Stamps is the only turn off for me, only because I don't think this person should have to pay for something they really don't have money for... .

I would probably just laugh about running out of gas, as a joke later on, if it were to happen... .
