Offcourse women can still become the victim of bad men even if they dont pursue, but for women too pursue men would make the risk much higher. Women can more easily avoid bad men if they let the man pursue them.

I understand your point about "fishing" if its not online. But if it's online the woman wouldn't even know I existed before I messaged her so I don't get how you can say that is also fishing?
I have a question about salary differences. Say you do make more than 20k than her. What if she has full benefits, and you don't, savings and a 401k, and you don't? If a person earning 40k has all of those things and you don't, then it's a wash. Well, the 40k earner might come out ahead in the end.
