I will no longer take it personally that you follow me around and leave snarky comments directed towards my posts. I guess it's quite common that forum junkies wait for prey. (Newbies)

I feel bad .. really I do..now that I know you have had an assectomy. It does explain things though..all that waste must exit some place.
What is even more annoying is when a negative person confronts you about your negativism but they don't allow you to respond or react to their negativity. They get in your face like a wanna-be Judge Judy.

But if the people around them are so positive they are supposed to encourage and role-model the "positive" behaviors everyday. You can't be a hypocrite about it and mob people with complaints of "negativity". I've met a plethora of negative people who have no trouble pointing out a time when I was negative only to walk away after they blame me and not allow me to respond or examine the experience holistically. Too many people think of themselves as a Nancy Grace or a Judge Judy (The Happy Police) which becomes like a cult because nobody wants to evaluate the leadership or systems: they'd rather place blame on some sad guy or sad woman rather than evaluating everything holistically. It's infuriating and rude and unproductive.

I work with one lady that is extremely negative and thinks she is all high and mighty. She is still in high school mode thinking the snobs are out to get her. And she is 28!!!! I roll my eyes at her.
Negativity is DEFINITELY contagious. My department was going through a funk one day. It just seemed like everybody was down (I've noticed this happens a lot in the winter here in the Midwest).
I sent a couple people an email with a list of quotes from Wedding Crashers and The Hangover from IMDB (two VERY popular movies in our dept at the time). It got passed around and pretty soon everyone was laughing.
My husband is one of these pessimistic people, so I am an expert at dealing with them.
