All you have to do is take a look at your parents (which according to your post, experienced this bliss...and be convinced.)
I was going to say the same thing. How could she not be convinced when it happened to her parents? I guess it takes experience in order to be convinced at something.
I have never experience this so it make sense to me I'm not convinced yet. I can imagine the guy saying it was "love at first sight" for him but that doesn't mean it was "love at first sight" for me.
Call me cynical, but I seriously don't buy the whole "love at first sight" notion. Now, I may not be an expert in love, but I'm pretty sure you only love someone if you really know them. Seriously. You have to get to know the person to determine if you really love them or not, am I right?
I think the only thing at first sight is physical attraction, infatuation or even lust. Correct me if I'm wrong but I seriously think it's only attraction at first sight rather than actual love.
What do you guys think?
I think it does exist. 22 years ago I spotted 'The One'...started a conversation and never went home, literally. Next day, after a long night of talking 'and such', I drove home, packed my stuff and my cat and moved in.
You know when it's right.

Negative on love at first sight for me. Love is more than attraction, and something that cannot be determined on just seeing someone.
Even with instant attraction for people, I have found getting to know someone and developing love for them significantly enhances whatever initial attraction I had.
if you're somebody that is like that that wants to be with somebody their whole life the first time you meet them, then you're one scary person.
