Love Lucky 32, top 3 of my favorite places. There was one in Winston for several years now called Big Shotz or something like that. Cool, this means you aren't afraid to actually come into Greensboro.
Not far from Lucky's is Pastabilities on Battleground. Naturally they feature pasta but they have other good menu selections. The following I'm just rattling off before I go to bed (you may notice a pattern) I can tell you more about them:

Hey thanks!!! I've heard of Pour House, Natty Greene's and Mellow Mushroom (I think that's a localish chain, we have one in this area).
Have you ever had the peanut butter pie at Lucky 32? If not...YUM! I have the recipe and I've tweaked it a bit (I like mine better) but it is soooo good and sooooo fattening!

Natty Greene's and the Tap Room are the only two places I really miss in Greensboro. Oh, and Ghassan's.
Like you take corn on the cob, cut the corn from the cob into a skillet (I used a wok), add salt, pepper, some sugar, and butter and any other spices you want to it, and fry it. I used cajun seasoning and it's pretty good.

You know, if I ever came into money I think I'd open an old school jazz bar and name it Pinky's after my grandmother.
She used to tell me about these places she would hang out in as a young adult. Always dressed to the 9's, great music, classic drinks...etc.
She was a fire cracker until the day she died. Always went out dancing wearing her 4" pumps and cocktail dresses. She's the reason I LOVE this kind of music. It was always on at her house and she was always singing!

Live To Dance, American Idol and America's Got Talent are shows we always look forward to for "pure" entertainment.
It adds a lot of flavor to the corn, and a little more of a crunch, but the pepper will really show through when it's fried.
