A lifelong friend lost his oldest boy last night. I don't know how, I couldn't understand him on the phone. Twenty two years old. It seems like only yesterday he was born and my mind dwells on the baby I held, the man who died last night. I cant imagine this grief and my heart breaks for his family and so great a loss.

As a new mommy - this is unthinkable for me. I can't even imagine. I'm so sorry for you and for your friend.
Crabbie! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss! That is so sad, and especially around the holidays. He was so young too, which just makes it that much more tragic.
LOL, I can't even post it! But I had a great response.
