Good for her, and good thing it happened in Oklahoma and not someplace like California, New York, or Massachusetts. She'd be the one going to prison and probably be sued on top of that. That's one tough mama, I hope things start looking up for her. Loses a husband to cancer on Christmas day and then has to defend her home against two lowlives. At least there's one less lowlife in the world thanks to her!
I guess it's just not OK to admit that I was wrong because killing someone is rarely OK to do in situations?

No sane person really wants to take another one's life, the reprecussions go way beyond legalities. As the example displayed the intruder was given reasonable means to change his course.

I didn't know that California NY & Mass. were so messed up. Seriously, if a weirdo is breaking in, why wouldn't someone be allowed to defend themselves?

No kidding. The guy came after her with no reaosn. Can you imagine if she shot him and just maimed him? When he got out of prison in 6 months (if not sooner) he really would have had a reason to hurt her.
