Thank you to all who commented,I see it didn't last long though. To those that said there are no ugly women, tell that to the guys who harass me and others. They haven't gotten the memo, nyway if anyone cares I have decided to just move on from that job.I'll be fine until this other job starts.I just can't take it anymore,I deserve to work in a place where I don't feel like bursting into tears at times.

I hope you find a new job where you are treated better. Keep us updated.

Would still love for you to post a pic (or DM me one) so I can give an honest opinion of where you stand. At best, you'll discover you aren't ugly at all and those people at work had ulterior motives for demeaning you. At worst, you'll pick up a few tips on how to make more of what you have, because I stand by my opinion anyone can make themselves reasonably attractive these days.

If your perceptions of harrassment continue at the new job, I hope you will consider seeking counseling. Good luck.

I was being harrassed and I really take offense to your belief that it was all in my head.People are harrassed at work everyday, just because you may not have expreienced it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Thanks for your well wishs.

Pimpy,I really don't feel comfortable sending a stranger a picture,I just don't.Whether I'm ugly or not it does not excuse the way I was treated.I could have turned the tables, these guys are not even "cute".Out of shape...you name it,I however thought these things but I never said so at all.You know why because it really meant jack **** to me,your not my husband or my lover. What do I care? Anyway to cut this short....thanks for the well wishes.

People ARE harrassed everyday...I know I used to work with a woman who would knock me into the wall if we were passing each other in the hall. Happened twice. There were other things but she was best friends with my boss...when I told my boss, she thought I had made it up. I told the CFO (closest to HR as we could get) and he was disgusted and had a talk with my manager. The offender stopped with the physical but her mouth was atrocious.

I can handle myself pretty well but I have to say, when the abuse is not recognized or very hard to measure, the person receiving it (I refuse to say victim) really suffers. I totally feel for you...good luck in your new place. Maybe take some comfort in that you're smarter than those mean people!!

yes, but didn't you say that you have been dealing with similar comments and harrassment all your life, in a variety of settings?

So you've never heard of people being picked on throughout their teens and beyond? Do you watch the news or read the newspaper....not trying to be funny. It's out there, there are people who do get picked on alot.Count yourself lucky if you've never had to deal with this.
