When I started dating my husband - we waited for a few weeks to tell everyone. We we on tour so we were basically living with all of our coworkers. I had called off my wedding to be with him - and I wasn't ready to tell everyone all of this yet. I decided to do it in baby steps - first tell them I'd called off the wedding, then tell them that my hubby and I were dating... I think they all knew anyway! Oh - and obviously - I married him so that's how it ended up!

Dated a coworker. While we didn't keep it a secret, we didn't announce it to the world. Why? Because it was no one's business, and I didn't want to become the target of office gossip. What happened? We got married 21 years ago. A lot of people in our office were very surprised when we got engaged, so I guess we did a good job of keeping it secret.
Have you ever been involved in a relationship you had to keep secret from others? Like dating a co-worker, or some other type of relationship that had to be kept secret for various reasons? What was it? Who was it with? Why couldn't you be public about your relationship? How did it end?
I met my wife at work. We had to keep it quiet for a few months. People had their suspicions about us and were always in our business. It all worked out in the end. We both got new jobs working for the same company. Saves money on gas.
Intriguing. My life is an open book, and I think consenting adults should be able to have relationships, as they wish, the problem is there are so many "rules" in our society, can't date a subordinate at work, can't date a person you may have seen in a professional relationship, like a patient, or student (college). Or whatever...people really should just MYOB...
Dated a coworker. It wasn't that big of a deal. Theres a few X-rated ones that would get deleted here. I know there's more than a few here that would be crucified if they told what they have done or currently are doing.
yes sarah palin and i, i have not told her yet but i am sure she knows, i am squinting looking at russia right now.
