about how i was and relationships and kids, which i dont have. we were really close friends for a few years then had a fight over nothing. so finally i emailed to say sorry and she avoids that but asks about my relationships and kids in a vague way. ive always had some interest but didnt want to upset the friendship. any opinions?
ok, someone i dated several years ago, asked about my relationships and kids, like if i have them now. so that was mostly what they were wanting to know. im wondering how i should take that
It's a standard question with someone you haven't spoken to in a while. I wouldn't read too much into it unless she elaborates and says something along the lines of "Oh, so you don't have anyone?" Then you can read into it.

Don't take it any more than her simply wondering. If it goes further than that, maybe.. but just from that question it's really nothing more than a simple question. That's a pretty standard question.

i see. this is how it was stated... "how are things with you overal..relationship, kids, etc." i avoided relationship stuff earlier
She's just trying to find out what is going on in your life. Are you dating? Do you have kids? Pretty normal questions from someone you haven't spoken to in a long time. Don't read so much into it.
Just say, "I've never gotten over you" and see what she says. That would do the trick.
