"Enrichment" courses at a local CC are a great place to meet women, I'll say that much... you definitely have something in common and a reason to talk, if nothing else!
Anybody (and I'm not talking just dates, but even friendships) with whom I have had a good rapport stems from, first and foremost, school, followed by work or professional development functions. After that, I would say common cultural interests, like "ethnocentric" (lol) groups.
As for actual things set up specifically for dating, I have not had good luck with singles stuff organized along religious lines, as I've found a lot of the members to be either dweeby or phony, and sometimes both. As for on-line dating, a BIG thumbs-DOWN.
