He thinks he's one-upping you by implying that you have been added to his ignore list, when in reality it accomplishes nothing but to encourage petulant behavior instead of taking jabs and insults in stride and perhaps coming back with a witty one-liner of his own.

I don't care about encouraging any kind of negative behavior when I add a person to my ignore list. I do let them know that I am adding them to my ignore list so they understand that they should no longer try to make a post directed towards me.

Heading out to a friends party in a few. Feeling a bit under the weather after having driven about 700 miles day before yesterday and I just bought a new car last night so I'm ok with sitting here and decompressing just a little on this, the biggest party night of the year. I have to be careful I don't get too comfortable though and miss the party.
