i've said i love you during sex, but only when i really meant it and to women i'd said it to in other contexts as well
and as Philosophizer pointed out, sometimes it's more fun to say quite different things instead
I have never had a guy who I was in a relationship say I love you after or before sex, I think they are all quite aware that I am too smart for that one. They do typically say, "Hey I really, really like you."
Exactly. I'm too smart for that one. Never had it said before, during, or after sex either. My boyfriend tells me now that he knew he loved me pretty soon after we started dating, but he didn't say it until right before our 1 year anniversary. I had said it 4 months before
The first time i told my wife was just after i'd taken her for her first ride on a motorbike and she was so excited and jumping up and down. She took off the helmet and shook out her hair and i just said "Christ i love you!"
It was unintentional, it just sought of welled up inside me and popped out. I'm still not 100% certain who was the most shocked....
She said it to me about a week later. It was a very nervous week.

I would want to be told I love you during but not for the first time ever because I'm not sure I'd believe him. He should tell me in a different context first and after that when I know he truly means it, it would definitely be something I'd want to hear during.
