Babysitting on a Friday night. Such an exciting life I lead
You and me both. My son is having some friends over tonite for a night of video games and pizza...I have to play the role of 'babysitter'...even though I'll probably end up getting caught up in all the video game hoopla myself...LOL
My windows were open today, which is why it's so damn cold in this house now!
In the winter I've got 3-4 blankets on my side of the bed...and sometimes I wear long sleeves or a sweatshirt, pants and fuzzy socks to bed. I hate being cold.
Even though I love it hot, I'm loving this weather when you get to open all the windows finally!
I miss my water bed. It was a queen. Back when I was single though. Never had any recreational fun on one.

I had the kind of waterbed that was like 6 - 8 individual tubes of water (rather than a single giant bladder) and then an actual mattress went over top of them. It was so comfortable while it lasted, but I had a few tube blowouts, and eventually I just got rid of it.

No...he stays on his side and I stay on mine...unless it's "playtime"
I know some people like to be all intertwined when they sleep...I'm not one of them. Honestly, if his foot or arm even touches mine I'll nudge him over or give him a little kick to move...LOL
Sometimes we wind up falling asleep holding hands, but that's it.
If I'm hot I don't want someone near me in bed but if I'm cold I'm against them absorbing their bodyheat. Lol
So my suspicions of women in this area have been confirmed.
I joined a dating site about a month ago, just to see what's out there within' 100 miles of me. Keep in mind that I consider anything within' 20 miles short distance, so 100 miles is a lot of distance lol.
I guess that, compared to the amount of "hits" I've had(flirts, requests to chat etc), I'm blowing out most men on this forum. I've been hit on, complimented, lots of likes, from women around my age, but all of them live more than 40 miles away from me lol. And more than a few of those women were latina and Spaniards..Which is kind of odd, but hey I'll take anything.
I feel a little more confident, but I have to realize that they live relatively far, so I can't put tons of weight on it, and it's reassuring that if and when I can move away from this area I may actually have success.
I was out at the hospital and my grandma told me a pretty cool little story about our family.
She said in the late 1800's my great great grandfather was the town doctor in Ellington, Missouri. Just a small little town (still small today, she was born there). One night they had just sat down to dinner, when they heard some noise out by the barns. So they went to see what was going on, and it turned out that a gang of outlaws were stealing their horses. They were held at gunpoint while the outlaws took what they wanted. They had just robbed a train, and they needed fresh horses to make their escape. My family found out later that the leader of that gang was Jesse James, and they were headed for their hide out in the meramec caverns here in Missouri.
Interesting story though, and she said she has a newspaper clipping that talks all about it.
