I get that a lot of people think that everything happens as it should, when it should, and I usually believe the same thing. But I'm starting to wonder if I'm just using it as an excuse to not date. Anyone coming to the same realization or am I just wasting the unlimited bandwidth of the Internet?
I have gotten that before and then again I have things to do in my life. My goal is to be married before I am 40 and have at least 1 child (even if I don't have a child I would at least like to experience marriage). I am 27 (I will be 28 in November) but I do feel that I have sometime seeing as though people my age are already working on their 2nd or 3rd child, might be going through divorce or celebrating anniversaries, and to be honest with you I am not ready for all of that just yet

...but I don't want to put off relationships, marriage, and a child before it's too late...I do have to look at it from a medical standpoint...it won't be easy to have a child as I age

I got this sometimes from my dad, back in my 20s.

Now he hopes that maybe I'll get lucky one day and meet someone.

Or he just says he's glad I'm the kind of person that I am, regardless of what women think of me.
