Oh loves! I have gotten to know you so much via this forum that I know you would not say it if you didnt mean it. Besides, your Prince found you, so I am sure you know a thing or two about a thing or two, lol. Thank you for your kindness and you know....I know in my heart he is out there too, I really do. I just have to keep my eyes peeled, be honest with myself, live in the moment, and perhaps most importantly continue in personal growth.

I always vote. That way I can get angry at what the president is doing one way or another lol.

To me, if I didn't vote, I would be saying that I don't care who's president and such. Not that it probably wouldn't prevent me from getting angry anyhow.

Good for you.

Voting is one of the most precious rights we have in this country.

People like my grandfather died on the beaches of Normandy, and other faraway soil, so people like you and me in future generations would have these rights.

I wish more people took that to heart - acknowledged their supreme sacrifice.

It is entirely possible to ruminate about this for months, in some particular elections, and not know which candidate you want, and it's only fair NOT to vote.

If it's a movie star running, I definitely vote ... AGAINST him or her.

For some reason, LA County was sending me a jury summons YEARLY and I couldn't take off work. That will cause someone not to register. I don't owe anybody an apology in this matter.

My grandpa served during WW2 also, he was a gunner though. Had tons and tons of medals.

Though the reasons you stated aren't really in my mind when I go vote. I just make sure I had my little say in who I want my officials and president to be.

Don't take what I said the wrong way. You can do whatever you want and I'm not expecting you to change your ways because of something I posted on the internet that you read.

I'm just giving the reason why I choose to.

The problem for voting as a libertarian who is mixed on the issues is that you don't usually like either the democratic or republican party candidate much except for the rare Mark Warner or Creigh Deeds. This year I'm voting Gary Johnson for president (provided he is on the ballot in Virginia) because I don't think Obama OR Romney can do anything that would help this country. Voting is the only way I can have my voice in this country, too bad that voice is saying "you BOTH suck."

Let me share something about loves- when my twin died the support immediately after was wonderful from everyone on this forum at the time, but it was loves who months, a year or so later, who would DM me and ask how I was doing. She would remember that the anniversary was coming up, etc. A complete stranger on the internet would check in on me and I found that to be so personally valuable and kind. While I certainly do not share all of her (what I feel are traditional) views, they do work for her and she only attempts to share what actually works for her. A complaint of merit, imo, are about people who live completely dysfunctional and f*cked up lives and attempt to pass along their "advice" (aka trash) and sage wisdom.
I've been pondering this post, and the one that prompted it for a few days now.

I want to start by saying, what a privilege it has been to get to know you in particular here Braunwyn. I have great respect and admiration for you and your very fine mind.

Right now I also have extreme gratitude for your kind words above. Thank you for seeing me.

It has been my observation that tone of voice does not always easily transfer to the written word. Because of this, unfortunately, sometimes some of us find ourselves misunderstood.

It would never be my intent to imply that I feel I am somehow superior to anyone else here.

I simply view myself as a traveler who may have gotten further down the road than others here at this point in time.

I want to apologize to anyone who feels as though my attempts to share what I have learned on that journey felt like judgement or condemnation. I was just often so anxious to share what I know in an effort to make life easier for some than I myself had it.

My list of "20" is below.

Since this may be my last post here for a while, I hope anyone reading will overlook the fact that I went over 20. Peace
