Anecdotal ... but I've seen this story play out many many times.

1. Woman in her 20s has a kid with a good looking guy. A real alpha male.
2. Alpha guy leaves
3. Woman dates but is unable to get an LTR with another alpha.
4. Woman now in her 30s settles for a nice guy. A beta male.
5. Woman treats beta male like a door mat.

and then the other twist...

6. Woman has a kid with the beta guy, but the child is homely compared to the child fathered by the alpha.

Maybe the woman just matures and learns what type of men are keepers?

My late husband worked in IT - he was totally HOT.

Seriously who sits around and comes up with theories of other people?! Go live life. Stop observing from the outside.

I've never once seen this. The few single Mom's I do know are still pretty darn attractive and end up with guys who are around their level.

So yes, it's very anecdotal.

Plus, I'm not a single mom and I definitely wouldn't mind a nerdy IT guy.

We know single mothers were born of Lucifer. Sigh.

For all the men who 'claim' they hate single mothers, they spend more time on them then anyone else that I've seen. When are they going to make a thread about the millions of no good dads who need to be tracked by a government database, there's so many of them, to pay for their kids. I eagerly await the creation of said thread....

Beta IT male stole your woman, bro?

I happen to have an iT degree, and while boring is subjective, I can probably squat 3 of you. Don't say it unless you can back it up.
