Ergo, I am a crazy cat lady because I have five cats. I have a male friend who has two dogs and two cats. I have a female friend who has four dogs and three cats. I have also had many dogs in my life, along with horses, ducks and, more recently, a rescued rat. I very much need to know the labels which should be given to my male and female friends who have both cats and dogs and need a better label for myself. Not having these anomalies labeled is going to drive me quite berserk. Please help.

Guys with dogs are sexy? I've never heard that.

I have a cat and a dog. Love them equally.

IDK guys...What about that saying:

"If you need a friend get a dog (or cat)"

Animals are so much more loyal than humans. Maybe the crazy cat lady has been hurt too many times and turns to the solace of the cats.

I border on the crazy cat lady some months. We have 2 cats but I usually foster kittens in the spring. However, I'm not single...so that saves me from that title!
This is funny to me. I'd be too scared of dogs chasing my (former) cats or scaring them. I just kept them in the house.

Quick anecdote- my sister has a labra-doodle, fuzzy little thing, she needs to walk every so often and let her go to the park. When she's ill I sometimes take the dog out, and the number of women who stop by and gush like I've got Ryan Gosling on a leash is incredible. Literally every few blocks people would stop and try to pet her. I definitely need to get a dog...I would have by now if it weren't for the family I'm renting from disliking them. Once I'm renting my own place I'll buy one.

This crazy cat lady has taken in all the animals who have shared/do share my life because they've been hurt, displaced and/or abandoned too many times and have turned to me for solace ...

The guy I'm seeing now had a dog when I met him on the trails. The guy was cute but the dog sealed the deal for me.

Be prepared to have someone tell you that getting a dog to meet women is lame. I can hear it already... they're just jealous that a dog has more game.

Well, I wouldn't get it solely for that reason. I have two dogs back home in Malaysia, and I miss them a lot. Dogs make for good companions..unlike cats they're too loyal and/or silly to know they could just take food from you when they want it and then ignore you for the rest of the day.

Also it's necessary that the dog I get have game because I have zero. In fact I think I'll get one of those talking dogs that can do all the flirting for me, all I have to do is stand there and hold the leash.

Nobody would say that because it would be false. I met my wife because of walking my dog. I tell the few single friends I have left to get a dog.

I should have said using a dog, not getting.
