Has anybody here ever heard of somebody going overseas to find a wife? How did it work out for them?
More and more as time goes on, I think about the possibility of having to go overseas to Armenia to get a wife. I imagine that I will be high in demand as an Armenian American man who is doing well here in the states. Plus the other nice thing is that Armenian women are great housewives

well going back to your own home country to find a wife is pretty common in the Indian community. I would imagine in many immigrant communities it is common as well because men are more likely to emigrate and leave the home country to go abroad in search of work. therefore, in those countries that accept them, there is bound to be an excess number of men of that ethnicity. some of these men will find wives there, but many will have to return home to find a wife.
however, your question, as it's phrased, seems to be a bit more general. you seem to be asking if men will go to ANY other country specifically for the purpose of finding a mate. this I've seen happen far less commonly. altho I personally would not be opposed to it since I've dated women from all cultures and love eastern European women
PS: and yeah, for a 23 yr old you seem pretty obsessed about this. you're far too young, IMHO, to be worrying about marriage. enjoy your 20s, Mod cut: Inappropriate language, then worry abt settling down when you hit 33 - 34.

Armenian women generally only marry Armenian men. Also Divorce is very strongly frowned upon back home. I am pretty confident I could make her fall in love with me once she spends some time with me
