It's about life stages. It depends how mature of a 20 year old she is and how mature of a 29 year old you are.
If she is still in college, unsure of what she wants, and not wanting to be tied down, probably. If you are into your career and ready to settle down and don't need to "discover" yourself anymore, then you may be too far apart. It has less to do with age though. No formula really, just life stages. Same could apply to a 30 and 40 year old.

What does love have to do with age? I know some of the relationship cops here are obsessed with matching ages, but it's really no one's business.
Let me put it this way ...... a 45 yo man with a 20 yo woman is a big difference in age, but who cares? Or who should care. Both get something out of it, or they wouldn't be together.
Yes that's quite an age difference. Well you asked, lol. That doesn't make or break the relationship though.
