I like all kinds of men so it's hard to pinpoint attributes. If my husband and I were no more for some reason I'd be looking for the following (in no particular order):

1. Someone who loves what he does. I can't deal with someone who constantly complains about their job but then does nothing about it. Someone who "sells out" for a paycheck doesn't really appeal to me either. He needs to love his job.

2. A man that is musically inclined. I do LOVE to sing. Would be nice if he did too...or he could play the piano or guitar, I'm flexible

3. He would have to live a healthy lifestyle. I don't regularly consume crap food therefore it is RARE to find it in my house. If he complains about there being "nothing to eat" because I don't have my pantry stocked with chips and cookies then he's not the one for me. Likewise, he can't sit on his ass in front of the TV all the time. He should have an interest in some kind of physical activity on a regular basis...hiking, walking, bike riding...something.

4. He needs to have a passion for something in life..I don't care if it's football or fitness, reading or travel...something that he LOVES to do.

5. He cannot be a picky eater. If I cook and he's picking more food out of the meal than he's consuming, he's picky. My kids don't do that and I wouldn't expect it from a grown man.

7. He should take pride in his appearance. Clean cut and well manicured and his clothes should always be laundered and pressed. No ratty looking shoes either, that's my pet peeve.

8. I have children and children are a big part of my life (teacher) and he should like children as well. If he has kids of his own and he is involved in their lives that would be a huge, huge bonus.

9. A warm face and personality are a plus. Being affectionate and not afraid to show emotion would be welcome.

10. He should be financially intelligent (no huge debts or issues with money).
