ok, so here it goes. Idk why I am thinking this, but recently I had read something about video games and how they are childish. I really would like to get the ladies opinions on this topic. Do you think video games are childish and immature? Would you date someone that did play them? This just randomly came up in my head and I would really like to know what people think.
I guess the other reason that it came up was because I feel like I waste money on games when it could always be used for something else, but right now I am having some medical issues with my back and a few people told me that I should keep my system so that I wouldn't "go nuts" being at the house all the time(i'm off for the next two weeks). So don't be shy! Tell me what you think about a guy that plays games.
P.S. I do think about having a family someday and I figured that if a man had a family with work and wife and kids, that it would be impossible to play....
wow really? ok that surprises me, but by gamer I don't mean farmville or any of that nonsense. Btw, are you two older than 25. I kinda still expect a girl that is 15-25 to play them. js.

I'm 29. I have a classic NES, a Wii, a DS, and a Genesis.
I cannot stand video games so if I were single, then no, I would not date a man who made it habit to play video games.
My husband recently got a tablet and sometimes he'll play these stupid little games on there (some driving game and some other brainless game). It makes me want to smack the device right out of his hand.
I don't mind card games online or something similar but all these "cult" games that people wait in line to purchase and then they play for hours on end...no thank you.

Because YOU don't see the value in the games that your husband does, that makes the games stupid?

I have a ps3, xbox360, psp, psvita, wii and I play pc games here and there as well. I also played on a Halo3 team with my brother and cousin that ranked regionally.

but why are they stupid? what's the difference between playing apples to apples, monopoly, or a poker game except a screen and some buttons? I have dated some attractive women before such as yourself and I guess this is why I am asking this question. Btw, your answer is kinda on the violent side..kinda scary haha

Some people let their hobbies take over their lives. If you play in moderation you'll be fine.
Awesome! I guess I feel that I waste too much money on it, and when I mean too much money I mean like 50$ a month. I just met someone tonight that spent 10k on a game, no joke. I told him he could have gotten a car or even a degree with that kind of money.
