Precisely. I went to SEMA with a few of my friends a few years back and they kept mentioning that it was 'awesome to see this many hot girls that were into cars'... they were talking about the booth babes who were hired to stand next to cars in skimpy outfits.

Apparently, that takes the same amount of skill as me getting my A&P or ASE certs

It's hard to believe that guys could be that stupid. I mean, seriously. They thought those women were into cars?

btw, how's the new job going? Hopefully, the co-workers are better company than at the last job?

Guys see what they want Apparently, a chick holding a wrench in a skin tight pleather outfit is obviously SO into cars!

The new job is decent and the people are alright so far. I don't really have to deal with anyone in person, it's all over the radio and sexist remarks and being snarky is VERY frowned upon. So, so far so good

I think you need to go to grad school and/or grow up. Just think of all those sorority girls waiting for you at UT-Austin.

Women, here he is, Mr. Right! A guy who thinks with his little head, instead of his big head! What a catch!

Say what? Us male Engineering Geeks have always got along with our female counter parts. Ive seen some Profs act poorly to some of my female classmates but never fellow students.

Glad to hear it. That was per a report published by the University of Washington engineering dept. some years ago.

Men who are so insecure as to be intimidated by intelligent/educated/accomplished women are going to have a whole host of other issues, as well, and are best avoided. Consider yourself fortunate if your degrees are keeping them away from you.
