I met my boyfriend online. He lived 1500 miles away from me. However, we weren't interested in a romance in the beginning and spent six months as just friends. Otherwise, I wouldn't get involved with someone romantically long distance unless I met them in person first, and really got to know who they are. Plus when most romances start, the tendency is for the people involved to sugar coat who they are, be on their best behaviour, or try to fit the ideal of the other partner just to keep the romance going.
yeah i argree with you dont just date someone online you know nothing about.. you dont have to meet them in person 1st i dont think.. but get to know them be friends for awhile 1st.. i think being in long distance relationships you get to know the person better cause all you can really do is talk on the phone and computer rather then just meeting someone at the mall or something and you know nothing about them...
but thats just what i see in it.. good luck with it!
I suppose so, but I've never had one and have never wanted to. I don't like the idea of longing for someone remotely. I want to be with people in person.
