I'm talking anywhere from about 5-15 years younger than me (I'm 34).
Women my age or older rarely show an interest. It has happened but far less often than the 5-15 younger.
In fact all the girls numbers on my phone (excluding family or long time friends) right now are younger, except one. Personality wise I'm quite mature and sensible for my age, even if that doesn't always come across on this forum.
I do look younger than 34.
Is it a major factor many of those my age or older are already taken, hence the lack of interest.
Thoughts on why this is so?
The complaint is my mature personality sometimes has trouble connecting with the younger ones.
To the point of sometimes feeling like a mentor and not a date.
If/when I enter another LTR its unlikely to be with someone that much younger than me.
5 years younger doesn't sound like too bad of a problem. Late 20's to early 30's, I have found, tend to be a fairly good fit. 15 years younger? Especially placing the women into college age? Yes, definately going to be hard to find a good match in terms of maturity and place in life.
Maybe you are being approached by these women because your maturity as a grown up. Seriously. If those women are frustrated with younger men closer to their age because they are less established in career, or life, or just too immature for their taste, they may be chasing men who are older and better match who they are looking for in terms of maturity.
These are shallow pity looks that are making you not get the normal gal around your age. Height, Weight, Mass etc will decide what type of date you get. So I guess it's all about your figure for first glance. The first glance of communication are usually like this. You'll only simply have interest in people you've found attractive. In some way.
My opinion, I could be completely wrong, Just the way I see it.
As my mother would say, young women are hotter than old hags.
And as I would say; They have a brain the size of a peanut.
The attention span of a Dog with ADD.
Are not mature at all.
60% of the time that's your average Young girl in the Teenage state.
Doesn't mean don't give them a chance, That's not what i'm saying at all. I'm simply saying the chances of finding your "soul mate" with younger girls sometimes backfires horribly.
