Or you could just, you know, answer the question by giving them some examples of things you do for fun. If you don't have at least a couple of things on the tip of your tongue, you probably need to try having more fun.
I think u need to just cut people some slack they are just trying to get comfortable with you and find what you like to talk about while avoiding hazardous topics. Like if they ask something like if ask a question about your family and someone in your family just died that would put a real damper on the conversation

That's something else that is annoying, someone asking about your family. It is way too early for me to be talking about my family
He likes talking about his sexual fetishes, how he likes to have women sit on him as furniture and how he loves feet.
Apparently, those are acceptable things to talk about but don't you DARE ask him if he has any siblings.
