I saw an episode or 2, when other people put it on. And I really didn't get why it was so popular
Maybe people just go along with whatever is hyped up; that show is one of the reasons I gave up watching tv, lol
Too shallow, stupid & sleazy for my taste
Same, I caught one episode and didn't get the hype.
My sister loved that show, but I couldn't really relate. They were so much older than me and sleeping with that many men is kind of grody.
I've had SATC tests thrown at me on FB quite a few times. There's a few tests but most of them come back with Part Carrie and part Samantha. But again, I don't really see myself in any of those women.
I never got the 'Seinfeld' or 'The Office' hype either. I only sort of got the "Friends" hype but I"m pretty sure I could count on one hand how many Friends episodes I've seen.

I didn't tune in regularly to Seinfeld, but it was more enjoyable to watch than Sex & The City, from the few episode I did see......
The Office, same thing- only saw a handful of episodes, not too big on it either
I don't really watch any shows religiously, although I do like 30 Rock. Tina Fey
George was funny, but I had to listen to Jerry to watch him.
I don't have any shows I watch all the time either. I've been watching the first season of Justified on Netflix, for about a year now. I watch an episode and then it takes a month or two before I watch the next episode. I tried watching Walking Dead, I was done halfway through the first episode but my husband swore I needed to watch the rest and the next episode. *thumbs down* way down.
Actually, I don't really like tv show format in general. Movies are better.
